Service Description

This support is designed to help parents feel confident advocating for their child and working with schools to achieve the right SEND support. In these sessions, Heather will work with you to: Build a clear understanding of your child’s strengths, needs and challenges Explore school-based concerns such as unmet SEND support, communication difficulties or lack of progress Prepare for school meetings, reviews or difficult conversations You’ll receive SEND parent support to help you: Understand your child’s rights within the SEND framework Communicate your child’s needs clearly and constructively Feel confident and prepared when speaking with school staff Together, you’ll develop a personalised plan of action, with: Practical guidance you can use immediately Support with advocacy and next steps Signposting to relevant UK SEND services and local support where helpful This SEND school advocacy support is focused on partnership, clarity and realistic progress — helping families of neurodivergent children, including those with autism and ADHD, feel informed, empowered and supported. This support is calm, neurodiversity-affirming and tailored to your family’s needs.
